Stephen Wicks Proves It Is Never Too Late to Make a Statement
Stephen Wicks’ latest release is proof that a new artistic chapter can begin at any age. At 74, the former corporate executive and property entrepreneur is preparing to release “The Doomsday Clock (85 Seconds to Midnight).”
The song is his fifth single and is inspired by the Doomsday Clock, the symbolic measure of global danger published by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. Its 2026 setting of 85 seconds to midnight gives Wicks a stark image around which to build the track.
The single explores fears surrounding climate change, nuclear proliferation, artificial intelligence and geopolitical instability. Its rock sound is designed to carry both urgency and emotional weight.
Produced by George Shilling and featuring lead guitar from Stefan Hauk, the track will premiere with an official music video. The visual element will focus on the ticking clock and the fragile world humanity risks losing.
