Acclaimed Folk Artist And Songwriter Alex Roberts Set To Release Leading Single And Album Wandering Aengus alongside his upcoming album Love & Supernatural on 28th October to be available on all streaming platforms.
Described as an intimate sound that sparkles with a sense of folk magic, Roberts creates his music taking influences from his own magical practices. Roberts is a self-professed enthusiast of magic, synchronicity and the ancient practices of pre-Christian Europe as he enjoys a lifestyle that works outside of modern society.
With such an interesting backstory, an interesting album is bound to take shape. Consisting of a wide collection of songs, Roberts’ upcoming album Love & Supernatural also consists of remastered album updates of his original 2013’s tracks while additionally adding five new live bonus performances for fans to enjoy.
The lead single takes influences from a W. B. Yeats’ 1897 poem ‘The Song of Wandering Aengus’. Using the poem as inspiration, Robert’s uses his skill of poetic songwriting to create the artwork into a storytelling adventure which is a perfect example of what’s to come on the album.
