Joyce Sims is coming into our lives with her epic new single ‘What You Won’t Do for Love’
Readers of Colour Me Stunned, you are in for a treat today. As soul legend Joyce Sims is about to release a brand new single ‘What You Won’t Do for Love’ and I’m here to tell you all about it so you can save the date and be the first ones to have it on repeat when it’s released on the 22/07.
Some of you might recognize Joyce as she is a veteran to the music scene stretching all the way back to the 1980’s with her smash hit singles ‘(You Are My) All and All’ and ‘Come Into My Life’ and I was very excited to hear that Joyce had new music out.
This time Joyce is presenting us with a cover of Bobby Caldwell’s iconic single ‘What You Won’t Do for Love’, however, what I think makes this version of the song so special is how Joyce puts her own fabulous twist on the song that totally encapsulates Joyces music both past and present.
Using her signature raspy soulful vocals, paired with inspiring instrumentation, and as well as funk-esque dance anthems that are full of high spirited, contagious energy.
