The Enigmatic maere Announce New Single ‘red room’
Who doesn’t love a mystery? Many musicians have made their success by keeping the audience guessing. Now I have a new mystery for you in the form of the puzzling and enigmatic group mære who are due to release their new single ‘red room’ on the 29/07.
We might not know too much about these masked enigma’s but one thing is for and that is that they make incredible music and ‘red room’ is very much a testament to their talent. Fuelled with alternative R&B vibes mære excel in every way possible, from both vocal performance to production value.
When I first heard ‘Red Room’ I got clear FKA Twigs influences coming through and you can hear that mære’s musical inspirations span across vast genres and cultures, it is perfect music to chill to. Yet mære is certainly not surface level and is sure to intrigue the deeper thinkers out there…
It’s perhaps best to think of mære as an art collective…composed of elusive front person Cee, who for the most part, appears masked on socials, joined alongside various other musical collaborators.
