Grace de Gier Releases New Single “Done,” Showcasing Empowerment and Alternative Rock Edge
Grace de Gier, a Colombian-born singer-songwriter based in the Netherlands, has announced the release of her new single “Done” on October 11th, 2025. The track was produced in Paris with multi-instrumentalist Edgar Grimaldos, who contributed all instrumentation during the studio sessions.
“Done” is an alternative rock song with pop-rock influences, characterized by soaring guitars, cinematic arrangements, and haunting vocals. The lyrics are inspired by themes of breaking free from toxic relationships and reclaiming personal strength. The single was mastered by seven-time Grammy-winning engineer Adam Ayan, who offered positive remarks on both its emotional and technical qualities.
Distributed through Creativity Group and The Orchard (Sony), “Done” will be available on all major digital platforms. The single follows Grace de Gier’s recent successes, including her previous song “Your Name,” which reached #1 on the Amsterdam Independent Artists Chart (ReverbNation). Grace has also received recognition from media outlets such as Rolling Stone (Spanish edition), MTV Rock Edition, El Tiempo, and El Espectador, in addition to international awards such as the Music Monster and the Golden Mara International Latin American Award.
Grace de Gier is recognised for blending Latin roots with international rock sounds, writing songs that reflect authenticity and resilience. She is an active member of the Grammy Academy and continues to build her presence across Europe and the U.S.
