JCRS ‘There’s Only You’ – Review
JCRS is the all new super group of the extremely talented John Crawford and Robin Simon. Both have extreme success and knowledge under their belt and now they’ve joined forces for their latest single, ‘There’s Only You’.
‘There’s Only You’ is a synth heavy powerhouse of a single. The rich sonic experience is mesmerising especially when adding Crawfords epic vocals. ‘There’s Only You’ combines the smarts of pop, with an added dose of eccentricity and a uniqueness mixed with compelling electronic elements.
Robin Simon, former lead guitarist for Ultravox and Visage, known for his pioneering guitar techniques that brought you some of most creative and distinctive guitar sounds of the 80s and John Crawford is best known as the founder, principal songwriter, and creative heart of the 80s powerhouse Berlin that releases classics such as “The Metro” and “Take My Breath Away” so with the collaboration of these great minds the possibilities are endless.
The composition of the song just works perfectly, every element has its place and without it, it would feel as though something is missing. There’s Only You’ is a contagious song, toe-tapping with a built-in 80’s spirit that is fuelled by emotion. It truly is an exciting time for JCRS.
