Tia Beale is the New Katy Perry…honestly

Are you sick of lockdown? Do you wish you had the perfect person to cheer you up during this oh so blue times, well we have the answer and she comes from Australia but she is not the new Kylie she is more the new Katy Perry  . The stylish 20-year-old, who hails from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, studied at Sydney’s Australian Institute of Music (AIM) and initially harbouring dreams of becoming an actor, something which has clearly stayed with her, as you can see by her performance in the stunning video for Do It Over:

Now what else can we tell you about this super new star on the horizon, well how about the fact that hot on the heels of the unveiling of her debut single Coke & Mentos last month, Sydney singer-songwriter Tia Beale’s debut five-track EP, TIA, has just hit streaming sites, with a physical CD release, distributed by MGM, also available. Recorded in collaboration with music industry veteran Steve Clisby (who has jammed with Jimi Hendrix and played alongside Kool & The Gang and Chaka Khan), who also acted as producer, Tia’s EP traverses a variety of genres, from the gentle balladry of Do It Over, to the dance floor pop of Coke & Mentos, synth and syncopated beats of Synergy, and hip-hop-flavoured Keep On Coming Back. The forthcoming single is Do It Over, a track which though upbeat melodically, speaks lyrically of the devastating loss of a close friend of Tia’s to suicide.
