Born Lösers: Löser Ignite the UK Rock Scene with Debut EP
It’s official: Carlisle rockers Löser are poised to shake things up with the release of their debut EP, Born Lösers. Blending the punch of classic British hard rock with an assertive modern twist, the six-track record serves as both a love letter to the genre’s roots and a bold mission statement for the future.
Löser’s meteoric rise over the past three years owes much to their explosive live shows, which have become a must-see on the Northern circuit. At the band’s helm is Daz Evilhate, an American-born, British-adopted frontman whose background working behind the scenes for music legends lends authenticity to every performance. Joining him, guitarist Sam Spedding, drummer Sam Fretwell, and axe-slinger Ben Riley complete a lineup brimming with raw talent and drive.
The EP’s originals, including the lead single “Born Lösers” and standout track “Good On Your Own,” bristle with energy, resilience and swagger. “Karen’s Shield” tackles social issues head-on, while their rocked-up cover of “Damn Your Eyes” hammers home the band’s ability to rework classics without losing any punch.
As they take Born Lösers on tour in 2026, the band carry forward the spirit of last year’s guest-friendly gigs, where impromptu collaborations electrified audiences. Opening a new chapter, Löser prove that guitar-driven rock remains defiant, dynamic and unashamedly alive.
