Prog Rock Artist Tom Adamson Band Releases New Album ‘Old View of The New World’
Tom Anderson Band has released his new album entitled ‘Old View of The New World’
alongside the successful leading single ‘See the Light’. The album is now available on all streaming platforms to be listened to in full.
Capturing a traditional prog-rock energy throughout the album, Tom Adamson has incorporated 15 original tracks which all share a consistent energy and catchy guitar riffs. As a solo-musician, this has been a creative project that has pulled on every skill of Adamsons. Writing the album has allowed Adamson to handle everything from guitars to percussion.
Featuring some of his peers from Adamsons Jazz day, ‘Old View of The New World’ has a slight jazzy infusion which complements the prog-rock style that can be heard throughout.
‘Usually, I get inspiration while playing the instrument I’m using at the time. I enjoy the process of transcribing and learning new music. This often takes me on musical tangents which lead to new music and projects. Sometimes lyrical inspiration comes from historical stories, and poems. Mostly my lyrics have a deep personal connection though.’ – Tom Adamson
