Frontman and founder of the group, Edinburgh-based lead singer Jed Potts expresses his love for the genre in blues in his storytelling and poetic lyrical writing which can be heard in every track on the album. With an identifiable and striking vocal, Jed Potts’ vocals can even be heard clearly over the heavily distorted guitar sounds.
Since he was 9 years old, Jed Potts has been playing his guitar and exploring his passion for music. Raised in a household that encouraged music, Jed soon began to be surrounded by live performances. Jed Potts first set on stage at the age of 16 and continued to gig regularly, receiving slots at The Blueswater at the Edinburgh Fringe.
“Blues is my musical ‘first-language’ and it infuses everything I play. Even when I’m playing with The Katet or Thunkfish the blues is always there.
