Self-taught techno innovator, MIAV, releases album title track ‘Mass’

As no stranger to the music industry, MIAV (short for Made In A Vacuum) has thrown all rule books aside and has formulated an album which is both a tribute and a statement. But first, we are treated to a genre-breaking lead track which shares the name of the album. Created as a channel to express his thoughts and emotions, Mass is also a heartfelt tribute to a lost friend.

“He spent his entire life making music but like me, never shared it and a lot has been lost with him. I’m not going to let that happen to me and I have to get this album out, partly as a tribute to him. This music NEEDS to be heard”

MIAV

The Watford-based artist is completely self-taught, taking on the role of a sound technician by day, and techno maverick by night. The album, which will be released in September 2020, demonstrates MIAV‘s ability to completely transport his audience into an immersive experience like no other.

Not one to follow the crowd, MAIV has developed his own original sound by avoiding as much outside influence as possible, formulating in a lead track that is both profound and uplifting.

The seven-minute-long masterpiece provides the ideal means of musical escapism, and with the album to follow, it is sure to challenge the future of electronic music.
