Mark L. Oakes debuts with ‘Call Me The Moon’

Having been involved in a bag full of projects singer-songwriter Mark L. Oakes has been in search of his escape and he found this within his debut album ‘Call Me The Moon’. The well travelled musician has formed the perfect road trip soundtrack.

The Belgian artist recorded his debut at his home studio with the help of London cellist Ben Trigg. It was then mastered by Grammy award winner Gavin Lurssen in Los Angeles, allowing the album to have a clean fresh sound.

The shadows of Oakes’ idols are never far as you can hear the likes of Neil Young, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Tucker Zimmerman and Ryan Adams in ‘Call Me The Moon’.
