Pharrell Williams’ ‘Happy’ named UK’s top selling single of decade

Pharrell Williams has topped a list of the best selling songs in the UK since 2010.
The singer released the track ‘Happy’ in 2013 and it has now sold over 1,813,000 units in the country.
The news comes soon after the song was also named the top selling track of the millennium in the UK.
The Official Charts Company’s data meanwhile reveals that Williams is also in second place on the list.
His ‘Blurred Lines’ collaboration with Robin Thicke has sold 1,630,000 copies to date to land at No.2.
Williams also appears at No.6 on Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’.
The top five of the chart sees Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’ at No.3 and Maroon 5’s ‘Moves Like Jagger’ at No.4.
Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ follows at No.5.
